AJVESTOR is an independent Real Estate & Capital Advisory firm working with property owners, investors and companies across transactions, valuation, financing, capital structure and strategic decisions. We are looking for a Financial Controller / Accountant to strengthen the financial discipline, reporting and control environment behind the firm’s continued growth.
Role Overview
As the Financial Controller / Accountant, you will oversee core accounting and financial-control processes across AJVESTOR. The role combines hands-on financial management with management reporting, budgeting, cash-flow oversight and support for commercial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, invoicing, payments and financial administration.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting in coordination with external accounting, audit and tax advisers where relevant.
- Maintain budgets, forecasts and cash-flow reporting to support management decisions.
- Strengthen internal controls, documentation and financial processes as the business grows.
- Monitor project economics, receivables, costs and working capital across advisory assignments.
- Coordinate with banks, accountants, auditors and other external financial counterparties.
- Support financial analysis for strategic initiatives and internal planning.
Requirements
- Experience as a Financial Controller, accountant or similar finance role.
- Strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and cash-flow management.
- High attention to detail and a disciplined approach to controls and documentation.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with modern accounting and financial systems.
- Ability to analyse financial information and communicate clearly with management and external advisers.
- Knowledge of Swedish accounting, tax or corporate reporting is an advantage where applicable.
